Designed by the internationally renowned architecture firm Broadway Malyan, the Li Dak Sum Incubator at University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) was completed in 2021 as an innovative research and technology hub seamlessly integrated with the surrounding city wetland park.

Dezi Construction participated in the manufacturing of precast UHPC (Ultra-High Performance Concrete) facade modules for this 15,000-square-meter facility. The technical scope includes a custom combination of flat UHPC wall cladding, single-curved panels, hyperbolic (double-curved) decorative architectural fins, and precision-engineered vertical sunshades.

Engineered via 3D parametric modeling, ultra-dense matrix casting, and custom flexible molds, these thin-shell UHPC units allow the building to follow the organic curve of the campus edge while offering exceptional structural strength, superior weather resistance, and a refined tactile finish.
