GRG/GFRG Material

GRG, which stands for Glass Reinforced Gypsum or Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG), is a composite material made from a mixture of gypsum cement reinforced with glass fibers. It is hand-laminated using hard casting plasters and continuous filament glass fiber matting, sometimes incorporating additional support from timber or metal sections as required.

GRG material finds widespread application in architectural elements, interior decorations, and various construction projects. It serves as an economical, lightweight, and durable alternative to traditional plaster. With its smoother finishes and higher impact resistance, GRG is an ideal choice for creating decorative and functional elements that require both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.

Key Features

GRG exhibits exceptional durability, ensuring long-lasting performance and reducing the need for frequent repairs or replacements.

With its lightweight composition, GRG enables easier handling, transportation, and installation, minimizing structural load and facilitating construction efficiency.

GRG's versatility allows it to be utilized in a wide range of applications, including architectural elements, interior designs, and decorative features, offering flexibility in design possibilities.

GRG's inherent impact resistance provides added protection against accidental impacts or collisions, making it suitable for areas prone to potential damage or high traffic environments.

GRG offers visually appealing finishes, allowing for smooth surfaces and intricate detailing, enhancing the overall aesthetics of any space or architectural design.

As an economical alternative to traditional plaster, GRG helps reduce project costs without compromising on quality, making it a cost-effective solution for various construction projects.
